The Dassault Falcon 900LX is a heavy trijet in current production. It carries up to 16 passengers across a 4,750-nautical-mile range at 480 knots. Per the manufacturer's official announcement at EBACE 2008, the blended winglets add 7 percent more range over the Falcon 900EX. Climb performance improves by 10 percent. The aircraft reaches flight level 390 in 20 minutes on a standard day.

The winglets also extend the wingspan from 63 feet 5 inches (Falcon 900EX) to 70 feet 2 inches. That 6.75-foot addition reduces induced drag throughout cruise. The longer span improves lift-to-drag ratio at cruise altitudes above 40,000 feet.

The 900LX burns approximately 304 gallons of fuel per hour at cruise, the same rate as the Falcon 900EX EASy. The winglets deliver range improvement through drag reduction rather than increased fuel capacity.

The Falcon 900LX cockpit is EASy II, not EASy. This distinction matters for pilots transitioning from earlier Falcon 900 variants.
