Third, the cabin altitude was reduced to 2,916 feet while cruising at 41,000 feet, meaning passengers arrive feeling the equivalent of a 2,916-foot altitude rather than the 6,000 to 8,000 feet typical of most business jets.

The G700's maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935 is the highest in Gulfstream's fleet, enabling the aircraft to save up to 1.5 hours on very long sectors compared to competitors cruising at Mach 0.85.

The G700 sits above the G650 in Gulfstream's lineup and alongside the G800, which trades cabin length for additional range on the same engine and wing platform.
