The Dassault Falcon 8X is an ultra long range trijet produced since 2016. It carries up to 16 passengers across a 6,450-nautical-mile range at Mach 0.80. Three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D engines produce 6,722 lbf each. Maximum takeoff weight is 73,000 lbs and service ceiling is 51,000 feet.

The Falcon 8X's 500-nautical-mile range increase over the 7X reflects its increased fuel capacity and aerodynamic improvements. The Falcon 8X has a published range of 6,450 nautical miles, compared with 5,950 nautical miles for the Falcon 7X.

The Falcon 8X features a longer fuselage than the Falcon 7X, providing additional cabin space and fuel capacity. Its redesigned wing and aerodynamic improvements support the aircraft's increased range and efficiency.

The PW307D engines produce 6,722 lbf of thrust each, compared with 6,402 lbf for the Falcon 7X's PW307A engines.

The Falcon 8X and 7X share the same fuselage cross-section and cabin width. The longer fuselage, more powerful engines, and updated avionics are the meaningful differences.

At the same rate tier, the 8X is the preferred choice when the route exceeds the 7X's 5,950 nm range or when the longer cabin and FalconEye standard fit are operationally important. The 7X remains the right choice when 5,950 nm covers the mission.

Beijing to New York and Hong Kong to London are within the aircraft's published range.
